Punishments & Penalties
Below is a summary of the punishments and penalties that
the Court may impose upon the conviction of typical drunk driving offenses.
However, be aware that in addition to the statutory fines
the Court will
impose court costs and the Secretary of State will impose driver responsibility
fees that significantly increase the total cost of conviction. But
remember, your arrest need not result in a conviction.
